Erwin van Maanen (MSc. BSc. Hons) has been following the return of the wolf from eastern to western Europe since the Millennium, and commenced on-the-ground research of wolves when they started to settle within the Dutch-German border area. Erwin is founder and chairman of the Dutch Rewilding Foundation and co-founder of the Rewilding Taskforce under IUCN’s Commission on Ecosystem Management (CEM).
