Alison Parfitt – a brief tribute

Alison Parfitt sadly passed away on 17th December 2019. Those of us who were lucky enough to know her and call her friend will appreciate just how huge a loss this is.  Alison was a keen and active supporter of ECOS over the years and worked closely with the BANC team, as a trustee for many years, to keep this journal firing on all cylinders.

Her insight and enthusiasm were greatly valued, often bringing a fresh pair of eyes to many a problem with her mindfulness.  Over the last few years we have worked closely with Alison on rewilding and this latest special issue, which she commissioned through 2019, is a fitting tribute to her drive and vision.

We hope, in the near future, that we can find a lasting and substantive way of honouring her contribution and remembering the wonderful person she was.  We will all miss her dearly.
